Joyce Puyear peacefully passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 88, at her home in Longmont, Colorado surrounded by family. Joyce was preceded by her husband, Daniel Puyear and is survived by her children, Kathern Ratzlaff, Diana Appenzeller, David (Debbie) Puyear, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nellie Gordanier.
She was a wonderful Mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Boulder.
Joyce was the manager of the Gondolier Restaurant for over 40 years until she retired. She was a mentor for many employees over the years, and anyone who ever met her at the restaurant even years gone by would remember her as a kind, loving, generous person, who always had a smile. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
