Juanita and I were the best of friends for the better of our lives. We met during our college years, where we also worked for the same company, and saw each other every day. As if that wasn’t enough time together,  we spent most after hours visiting as well. We were literally like family. She was the sister I never had. We would  just hang out together, listen to music, and Juanita could harmonize with the best of them! She would always make me laugh.... usually AT her, as much as with her! She just had this way about her, that she would always make you feel better, just being around her.  There isn’t enough space here, or enough time in the world, to express how much she meant to me. As years past, I moved to Texas and married my long time sweetheart. The distance never kept us apart, as when I would come back to Oklahoma, we would get together, and she made several trips through the years, coming to Texas to stay with us. We even took an adventure to Mardi Gras, in New Orleans.... yes.... imagine that with Juanita! 😊 When I received the devastating call, from my best friend, Cleta, I was driving home. My husband and I had to pull the car off of the road.  He couldn’t hold himself together, and I was just in shock... disbelief.... Was this real? Could this be real? There is no way..She knows her body and all about her health and there is just no way. I think I’m still in shock, I’ve melted down several times, but still just in disbelief. It just doesn’t seem real. I’ll see a picture or think of something that reminds me of her and I want to break down again. I know time heals wounds, but Juanita has left such a hole in my heart, that the scar will never completely heal.😔❤️

Juanita was one of my kids.  She & I meet in 92 at Walmart   She quickly became a part of my family   She & I talked or saw each other everyday during that time   She could always make a bad day somehow better   I have such a emptiness in my heart now   Miss her so much.  My only peace is know she is with her family & loved ones in heaven   What a wonderful reunion   Her contagious laugh & of course her funny jokes she always had   I know my Mom will be tickled to see her   She loved her dearly   Til we meet again Sweetie   You will always be close to my heart ❤️

I can see you daily in some many ways letting me know your still around and were not ready to go. Help guide us all through this tough time. Prayers and Hugs !! Until we meet again!
