I've been wanting to get back in touch with you, but under happier circumstances. 
My mom just told me about Gwen, and I'm very sorry to hear that -> she was as much of a "work mom" to me as you were a "work dad" ... :-) 
I really want to attend the services, but I'm out of town that day -> I'll definitely find some other way to pay my respects, and hope we can re-connect soon . . .

Dear Jack, 
We are both so very sad to hear about Gwen's passing. We have the most wonderful memories of both of you..We always smile, laugh, and have such warm feelings when we think of our times with both of you. And oh the stories we STILL tell about our adventures with you two! Although I haven't seen Gwen for several years she has always had a big place in my heart.  I loved her and her great panache! We send  all of our love and prayers of comfort, Wendy and Greg Fickbohm
