Margaret C Planchard

Margaret (Margot) Carleen Outcalt Planchard of Boulder died peacefully on the evening of May 2nd, 2015. The daughter of Kathleen and Samuel Outcalt, Margot was born on October 21st, 1960 in Boulder. She married the love of her life, Robert William Planchard, on August 15th, 1987 in Estes Park. Margot will be remembered for her genuine and unique outlook on life. She loved art in all of its forms, and could often be found painting an immaculate canvas or creating eye-catching jewelry. She loved to travel, dance, and to toast life with a smile and a smart quip. She will be missed by all those who knew her. The world is dimmer without her radiant spirit. She follows her husband into God's Kingdom. Robert passed away 11 years ago at the age of 44. Margot is survived by her three sons, Sean Planchard, Ryan Planchard, and Kipp Planchard, whom she cherished more than anyone else in this world, her parents, and her sisters Melanie Nygren and Stephanie Outcalt. Visitation will be from 3 - 6 PM Sunday, May 10th at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder. The funeral will be held at 10 AM Monday, May 11th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1317 Mapleton Ave, Boulder. A reception and celebration of Margot's life will immediately follow. Interment will take place at Green Mountain Cemetery, 290 20th St., Boulder, following the reception and Celebration of Life. The family hopes that those attending the funeral or the Celebration of Life will honor Margot's memory by wearing a pink accent to the events, as this was her favorite color.
