

Naomi was raised in eastern Kansas & moved to Boulder with her family in the 1950’s, where she graduated from Boulder High School & the University of Colorado Boulder.
In 1955, Naomi married James L. Cole. They divorced in 1983. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, James Dean Cole in 1973, and her parents, Bruce & Laura Jones. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Larry) Bowman & Jerold (Michelle) Cole, as well as five grandchildren: Trent Bowman, Brittany Meints, Jeremiah Cole, Ryan Cole, and Chelsea Cole. Naomi also leaves behind two great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Bowman & Lainey Meints. Her siblings, Ruth Tilsley & Bruce Jones, survive her as well. Naomi remarried in 2013 to Charles Manser. They enjoyed many fun years together, but have lived apart in recent years.
A woman of many talents, Naomi was an exceptional musician & a highly skilled organist who played for numerous churches and functions in Boulder throughout the years. She was also a very talented seamstress.
Naomi was deeply involved in her community. She was a member of Grace Commons Church, Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter #5, Daughters of the Nile, P.E.O. Chapter EI, DAR, and Buffalo Belles.
Naomi will forever be remembered as an avid CU Buffs Fan. She attended football games until she was no longer able to, due to health.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Commons Church, 1820 15th Street, Boulder, followed by a Graveside Interment at Mountain View Memorial Park.
