Barbara L. Ludwig, 83, of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, June 30, 2014, and is now with her Lord and Savior. Barbara was born in Carlstadt, New Jersey. She was a resident of Waters Edge in Bradenton, Fl., and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She loved to travel and had friends all over the world. Her biggest love was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. She is survived by children, Janet Ludwig of Bradenton, FL., Karl Ludwig (Karen) of Oxford, NY., and Paul Ludwig (Stephanie) of Denver, CO. Also surviving Barbara are grandchildren, Katelyn Moody (Mace) , Bethany Beckwith (Douglas) , Kristopher Ludwig and Ryan Ludwig and one cousin, Joyce Millhagen of Liberty Corner, NJ.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 4635 26th Street W., Bradenton, FL 34207 with Pastor Craig Mathews officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Bushnell National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
