

Carmen Judith Felix Perez, aged 81, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on February 25, 1943, in Puerto Rico, Carmen lived a vibrant life marked by her devotion to her family and a multitude of hobbies that reflected her spirited personality.
Carmen cherished her role as a matriarch, deeply loving her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. Her sense of humor was a source of joy and laughter for those around her. She is survived by her three children, Fermin "JJ" (Jodi) Miranda, Waleska (Enrique) Pardo, and Frances Michelle Miranda; her grandchildren, Alex (Chuck), Brandon (Hannah), Lowry Alexandra, Enrique Antonio and Lisa Zeman (Chad); and her great-grandchildren, Harper,Jacob, Noah and Cody . Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Felix and Carmen Perez, and her siblings, Jose and Luisa.
An avid gardener, Carmen found peace and pleasure in tending to her plants. Cooking was another of her passions, often bringing her family together over meals filled with love. Her creative spirit was evident in her sewing and painting, while her love for dancing and fishing speaks to her zest for life and enjoyment of the outdoors.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5-8 PM at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park. A graveside service will be held the following day, October 26, 2024, at 12 PM, with interment to follow at Manasota Memorial Park. Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home in Bradenton, Florida, is assisting the family during this time. Carmen's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, as her spirit continues to inspire.
