Carole R. Clegg

Carole grew up in Sunbury and married Thomas P. Clegg III in 1961. They were married until his death in 2010. In 1978 the family relocated to Bradenton. She was active in her sons’ schooling activities and in her church’s activities as well. Professionally, she worked for the City of Bradenton as a school crossing guard, and then as a cashier for Hardee’s and several other companies until her retirement from Walmart after 17 years.

She is survived by loving children, Thomas IV of Bradenton, Timothy of Omaha, NE, Scott of Bradenton, and Matthew of Palmetto; brother, Mike Glace; Daughters-in-Law, Lynn, Jennie and Marcie; as well as eight grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, Willard and Clara Lucille Glace; husband, Thomas Clegg; sister, Helen DuFour; as well as daughter, Diane.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Bradenton Seventh Day Adventist Church; 2106 17th Avenue West, Bradenton, 34205.
