

Carole Anne Pepper, 86 years old passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 at home surrounded by family members. She left this earth to enter eternal life with her Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Carole was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Anne Brandau.
Carole graduated from Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with honors. She worked at The University of Pittsburgh and Prudential Insurance Company as an administrative assistant. She taught Sunday School for many years at Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Pepper whom she married on June 7, 1958, her children Kimberly ( Pepper) Sarver (Steve) of New Bern, NC, Scott Pepper (Cindy) of Bradenton,FL, Mark Pepper (Sandra) of Bradenton, FL, and Joseph Pepper ( Tara Fazzari) of Seattle, WA., she also has a brother-in-law Robert Kilhfner of Columbus Ohio. Carole has six grandchildren, Justin and Michael Pepper, Ryan Pepper, Britta and Christiana Sarver and Tre Pepper. She also has one nephew, Chad Kilhefner. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed doing Sudoku Puzzles.
In addition to her parents Carol was predeceased by her sister Myra Kilhefner .

A visitation for Carole will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
