Danny Lamar Barfield, 62, passed away Aug. 30, 2014. He was born and raised in Samoset. He was a son of the late Holt and Lessie Barfield, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne. Danny is survived by his beloved children, Laramey, Jason, Janey, Marcus, Mathew, Tasha and Crystal; a sister, Elanie, and 12 grandchildren.
