Darlene Julia Berger

Darlene was born in Patterson, New Jersey, to Michael & Louise Einreinhof. She went to Wayne High School and graduated in 1967. She worked as a Real Estate Agent for Sara Bay Real Estate for many years. She then went on to be a Preschool Teacher and worked at Sunny Daze Preschool for eight years. Cooking and baking for her family and friends was what she enjoyed the most.

Darlene is survived by her children, daughter, Diane Micochero (Mike), of Bradenton, FL, daughter, Donna DeSantis (James) of Sarasota, son, Steven Snyder (Heather) of Wilmington, NC., beloved grandchildren, Cindy Micochero, Michael Micochero, Mikayla DeSantis, Matthew DeSantis, Madison DeSantis, Mitchell DeSantis, Stephen Snyder, & Kaitlyn Dee Snyder. She is also survived by her six step children, Francis Berger, Lenore Behrens(Kevin), Cheryl Yoder (Dan), Jeanine Matthews Shinstine (Eddie), Michelle Berger Collom, & Paula Deans, and her 10 step grandchildren. Sisters, Louise Tancke(Charles), Barbara Stahle, and brother Jack Einreinhof as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband Francis Berger, parents Michael & Louise Einreinhof, and brother Mike Einreinhof, son Donald D. Whalen, and ex husband Donald C. Whalen.

Funeral services will be held at Bayside Community Church at 6609 Manatee Ave. West, Bradenton, FL 34209 on December 2nd at 12:30pm with Pastor Mark Childers of Bayside Community Church officiating. Inurnment will follow at Manasota Memorial Park on December 2nd following the service. Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
