Born September 1, 1946, in Columbus, OH, he was a son of the late Joseph and Erma Day Desing. He was a longtime employee of Suburban Propane, and moved around the country with his family living in various locations including, Tallahassee, and St. Petersburg, FL, GA, NY, and WI. He enjoyed fishing and building furniture, but his greatest passion was coaching the Northwest Little League in St. Petersburg.
Survivors also include five children, Juliet Taylor and husband Johnny, of Bradenton, Joseph Arthur Desing and wife Laurie, of Clarksville, TN, Frederick Grant and wife Yvonne, of Pittsburg, PA, Adrienne Steinhower and husband Christopher, of Sarasota, and Jeremy Desing and Mindy, of Green Bay, WI, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
