David attended Millsaps in Jackson, MS. Then went on to attend Ole Miss Law school in Oxford, MS. After graduation, David worked for Mississippi Governor Bill Waller, head of the State motor vehicle department in Jackson, MS. He then moved to Louisville, KY, where he was the senior Vice President for Jewish Hospital, where we worked until he retired.
He later moved to Sarasota, FL.
David was preceded by his parents, Fred and Joan Fleming. David is survived by his wife, Beckye Miller Fleming; of 54 years, his son Matt Fleming, daughter-in-law Kari Fleming, and granddaughter Hayley Fleming.
David will be cremated and then a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
