

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, T.L. Witt and Bertha Starling Witt, husbands Ralph E. Daniel, Raymond M. Pitts and Greg Hayes, her brother Robert F. Witt, and her sister Jeanette Carden. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Ralph Harold and Susie Daniel of Cleveland, Georgia, and Raymond Wayne and Sharla Pitts of Portland, Oregon, six grandchildren and their respective spouses, Leah and Chris Mengwasser of Bradenton, Amy Daniel of Bradenton, Natalie Daniel of Clinton, Tennessee, Alex Pitts of Seattle, Washington, Marcus and Gretchen Pitts of Portland, Oregon, and Janell Orchard of Portland, Oregon, four great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law Juanita and Keith Siver of Bradenton, two nephews and two nieces.
Evelyn was a member of River Life Church of God. During her lifetime she was a steward at her job for the teamsters union. Though legally blind, she still loved her flowers and had a great zest for life. She never wanted to move from the state of Florida. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6–8 pm with Funeral Services at 10 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Manasota Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue, East in Bradenton.
