Linda was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and spent her early years there before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida as a teenager. Although she lived for periods of time in South Carolina and Michigan, St. Petersburg was always the place she considered home and held closest to her heart.
She graduated from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, where she formed friendships and memories that stayed with her throughout her life. Linda had a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of home and family. She loved quilting, gardening, crafting, decorating, and getting lost in a good book. Her creativity was evident in everything she touched, and her home reflected her warmth, care, and eye for beauty.
Above all, Linda cherished her family. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Cari Dunham Hodge and Amy Melissa Dunham, and her treasured granddaughters, Emma Jewel Hodge and Olivia Rose Hodge, who brought her immense joy and pride.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Tidewell Foundation at https://tidewellfoundation.org/donate/, in gratitude for their compassionate care.
Linda will be remembered for her gentle heart, her creativity, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. She will be deeply missed.
