Born Sept. 5, 1922, in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late John Heck and Anna Kraemer Heck.
Mr. Heck was a United States Navy WW II veteran. He was a loving and caring father.
Survivors include his children, Violet (Ronald) Sackmann, of Palm Coast, FL, Louis (Lynn) Heck II, of Stoddard, NH, Nancy Brown, of Ellenton, FL, and Barbara (John) Ferro, of Pomona, NJ, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at Manasota Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted following the visitation at 11am at the funeral home.
