Father, brother, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and veteran, at 92 years of age Richard George Weber was still making people smile and rooting for The Bills & Sabres. "Dick" Weber passed away peacefully Saturday morning, May 30, 2015 in Bradenton, Florida. He will be greatly missed but he never missed a beat when he was with us. Dick was loyal to not only his family, but his hometown of Buffalo, New York and his country. He was a WWII Army veteran, a graduate of the University of Buffalo, retired from Harrison Radiator in Lockport, N.Y. after 31 years and always made time for his family and friends. Dick never stopped talking about his beloved wife of 52 years, Margie. Dick treated everyone as family, to him there were no strangers - just friends.
Dick is survived by his sisters, Norma West and Virginia Laughton, his children Doug (Elena) Craig (Maggie), Ken (Lori); grandchildren Laura Weber; Christine and Charles Stanley; Kent Weber; Sara Weber; Melissa Weber; and great grandchildren Elle; Genevieve and Charles Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests constributions be made to: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; The V Foundation and Alzheimers Association.
A memorial service will be conducted at Manasota Funeral Home with Pastor John Foulkrod officiating on Saturday, June 27th at 2pm with internment to follow at Manasota Memorial with Military Honors.
