Sally Elizabeth (Shuman) Heilman, age 91, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. She was born on January 25, 1933, in Wimauma, Florida, and graduated from Manatee High School. On September 5, 1953, she married the late Ernest Heilman, with whom she shared many cherished years.
Sally worked as a courier for Rapid Delivery and was a devoted member of Samoset First Baptist Church. She found great joy in spending time with her friends and family, who were central to her life.
She is survived by her son James Heilman and her daughter Louise Gardei. Sally’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jennifer Lindsey; Stephen Litschauer (Cara); Nicole Brooks (Brandon); Stacey Graves (David); Cory Heilman (Allison); Chelsea Heilman; and Max Heilman; as well as her 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A graveside service to honor Sally’s life will be held on January 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Manasota Memorial Park, located at 1221 53rd Ave E., Bradenton, Florida 34203. Arrangements are entrusted to Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park.
Sally will be remembered for the love she shared with those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
