Tina ellard, I remember the times he shared together like it was yesterday, I still remember the questions you made me about Brazil and wanted me to send pictures to you when I got back. Always looked at your class as like a stupid or useless, but after a while we learn in life nothing is useless. What a pretty young woman you were, I remember getting your cupons and going to line at lunch to get free chips, reading leard we cannot forget. Hope your doing good in that better place, if you are wondering I am now in Brazil, I found a picture of yours in my phone and thought to write this for you, I missil you a lot Ms.Ellard

Mrs Ella’s was both my 7th and 8th grade reading teacher. I know I’m over a year late to say this but she was sweet, caring, and helpful to all of her students. She will always be remembered as a friendly teacher to her friends and her students.

Tina was the best. She was like a second mom to me. She was an amazing person, with a heart of gold. She was someone I could talk to and someone I could trust. She was always there for me. Now I promise to be there for her family like she was for mine. I won’t mind helping any day of the week, even if I have to stay up all night, I will do anything to help. It will be so hard for all of us for the longest time. And she will always have a huge place in my heart.,things in my school life and at home will change a lot. It will be hard to walk by her classroom everyday and know she is not there. She built her family to be just as strong as she was. She always was so bright and cheerful but Bransen made her so much more . I know it will take a long time for my heart to heal. I wish you were still with me. You helped me with my bad days and always made me laugh. March 19th we were in the car and Branson was saying wow, hi, and no when we were going to get pizza she was telling funny things that Branson did at Publix..She was an inspiration for me. And now I know I can pursue my dream to be a teacher because of her. Tina Rose, I love you more than you will ever know, i feel weak without you, i feel lost and i want you back. You will be missed so much! Rest In Peace.

Tina started at Manatee High School when she was four years old, in my Early Childhood Education laboratory preschool called Kiddie Kollege.  Ten years later, as a Hurricane freshman,  Tina returned to me as my student in the very same program! I had the pleasure of working with her throughout her high school career, both in the classroom and in FCCLA, our student leadership club. Her love for, and dedication to, children was evident as she worked with our preschoolers, the children at Puppy Patch, and her internship classroom at J.P. Miller. It is difficult to imagine her gone so soon when she still had so much more to give!

She had changed very little over those years......she still had that same impish grin that I remember so well and that zest for life.

To her family, words can't express my sadness in writing this to you. She will always be in our hearts and lives on in your precious grandson.

Im in 7th grade now, but 2 years ago when I was in 5th grade Mrs.Tina was my favorite teacher at Sunny Daze. She was always very nice and understanding when there was a problem. I was sad when she left Sunny Daze to be a teacher and happy for her, but now Im even more sad that she has left us completely. I don't pray a lot but I did tonight because this morning my mom saw on the news that she passed. She told me and I was a little sad and shocked, but throughout the day iI thought about it and it got to me. I felt more feeling than I did when i was told. I also told one of my other friends that knew Mrs.Tina before she left Sunny Daze, and he was shocked a little. I will pray for her every once in awhile to remember her, and for her family too.
