Eating cookies a couple of weeks ago brought back found memories of my friend , we would share cookies and coffee while laughing and sharing stories before he was ready to deliver his meals to the clients. What a joy I miss my friend.

      “Little Bill” and I became friends some time ago when I met him at the Fishnet Restaurant here in Bradenton, FL, and 
remained friends ever since — over 25 years.  
      Bill was an honest, fun loving  guy, and a real “pistol” at times.  He will always be remembered for adding a lot of character to the many get - togethers and holiday parties over the years.

I cannot express how sorry I am to hear about my friend. I had the pleasure of having him as one of my favorite volunteers at Meals On Wheels and making sure he had his cookies or having a pizza delivered to his home.
A beautiful life definitely worth celebrating. Love my little buddy and thank God he was in my life.

Hello, I met Bill many years ago when he was a great friend of my mother (Roslyn Peck) in Bradenton at the Fishnet Restaurant/Bar. I can't begin to recount the many great times we had together, I never stopped being in contact with him, even staying with him the year before last. Any friend that visited me from Maine when I was in Fl. was also a good friend of Bill's, and I've received sincere condolences. Bill was a true friend to me, and very much like a favorite uncle. He once lent me $2000.00 on the spot to buy a car after I had a serious accident, and he would pick me up to go to Happy Hour while I was without transportation. We went to Church together, as well as parties , dinners, and Happy Hours. "Little Bill" Mooney was a true friend of mine, and as long as I have a breath in me he will never be forgotten.

Bill was my Grandma's brother. He will be greatly missed. He was something else but he had a great heart. You will be missed. 

Bill was always a character with character.  He worked in the building next to my starter house in Champaign in 1978.  A "neighbor" for over 40 years - over half his and my life.  Will miss him and just hanging out.
