Anna A. Volpone

Anna was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She was dedicated to her family as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Nana. Anna was formerly a member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Belleville, NJ.

Anna was predeceased by her husband, Carmine Volpone, Sr. in 1975; her parents, Charles and Lena (Torsiello) Zara; and her sons, Dante, Anthony and Carmine Volpone. She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Fry and husband, Arthur, of Branchville; her son, Joseph Volpone and wife, Denise, of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Milissa and husband, Ciro, Donna, Elizabeth, Danielle, Joey and Christina; her great-grandchildren, Kodi, Kyle and wife, Sarah, Shirley, Maria, Cortney, Mason, Carly and Shayne; and her great-great-granddaughter, Arabella.

Visitation will be held from 9 am to 11 am on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ with an 11 am Prayer Service. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
