Dora, affectionately known as Janie, was born at home in Cranberry Lake on December 2, 1935 in the midst of an especially memorable snowstorm. A life-long Andover resident, Dora graduated from Newton High School and began her career locally as a sales representative at Shelby’s department store.
Dora is survived by her sister, Clara Walters; her niece, Wendy Moore; her great-nieces, Lauren Moore and Sandra Glass; and her great-nephews, John Moore and Richard Walters. She is predeceased by her sister Beverly.
A graveside service for Dora will be held on Tuesday, October 29 at 12pm at the Andover Cemetery, 15 Lenape Rd, Andover, NJ 07821.
