20 December 2020

We have often reflected on the many wonderful memories of Gene and Pat, and all the good times we shared together. Pat's artwork adorned the walls of our cottage in Vermont, and Gene and my Dad were the best of friends - from Stroudsburg, through the War, and beyond. The day Greg and Gene drove down the shore to visit with us was so thoughtful and special. I remember when we surprised Gene for his 90th birthday party at the lake, and what a spectacularly gorgeous day it was - made that much better to see my Dad and Gene reunited. It was their last time together. Their bond lasted a lifetime. We grieve the loss of a great friend and wonderful man, father and patriot. God bless you all. Heaven has a new angel for Christmas, and Pat is greeting him with loving arms.
