I cherish my memories of my aunt Betty. As a child I always looked forward to going to Aunt Betty's. She  was always happy! My time spent with her was filled with laughter and love.

I met Betty in 1951 when her husband and I were serving on the USS Princeton during the Korean war. We were friends for life, I talked to her on the phone a little over a month ago and we were going to meet for lunch. All our memories are good ones. Jeff

I knew Betty all my life, we were neighbors in Richland, Kansas.  Good memories of playing and going to school with her.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Aunt Betty - the best aunt a nephew could ever have! So many fond memories of California as a kid, enjoying the weather, fruit trees, and all the fascinations available in California - the cars, toys, candy, etc. Aunt Betty was always so generous and fun!

Aunt Betty was a beautiful, fun and generous aunt! She brought happiness and laughter with her wherever she went. I remember her as an avid reader and cat lover. She will always hold a special place in my heart and memory.

What can I say about this lovely lady that you don't already know?  Betty was one of those special people that you meet for the first time and instantly know that you've found a wonderful friend.
I first met Betty when Charlie was on dialysis.  My mother had to start dialysis and it was a frightening and daunting experience for us, but Betty was there at El Camino getting us used to the idea.  Betty was the "leader" of the caregivers and made everyone feel that we could get through this.  We often all went out for dinner.  I was sad when Betty moved to Brentwood and I didn't see so much of her.  We did go on a wonderful trip to London after Charlie died, and Betty was so much fun, wanting to do and see everything.  Nothing fazed her, not even the lousy weather!  
I'll always remember Betty as a fun loving person, and a very special person too.  I will miss you Betty.

My thoughts & prayers go to the whole family.

Betty was a close cousin and such a good friend.  So appreciative of the great memories through the years. We had so many fun times and loved to take time to laugh, hug and enjoy just a few moments in our busy lives so many miles apart. 

I will always hold Betty dear to my heart and so thankful that Robin and I got to come to CA to visit a few years ago. We enjoyed the lemons from Betty's tree in the backyard. Prayers to sweet Beth and her family. Hugs from Kansas. Nane

Betty, even though I only knew you for a while I am so lucky I got the chance. Your family means the absolute world to me and seeing how happy you made them, well that made me happy. Thank you for giving us your amazing Daughter, who gave me my bestfriend. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Betty I had the great pleasure of meeting you and being a part of your life, you always made me feel like i was a part of your loving family. I will miss your stories about you and Charlie and your past life hearing them always made me smile. i'll miss watching The Food Network together, Oh how we loved those cooking shows, except that darn Alton Brown as you would always say, I will always treasure the wonderful times we spent together. I Love and Miss you very much.

I have come to learn in my short life that God grants us all gifts in our life time that we can either cherish or ignore. Betty Phillips was a rare gift to me that I will keep with me forever! she blessed my life in so many ways and honored me by giving me her most prized possession of all; her daughter. I will honor your memory the rest of my life sweet Betty. We will miss you, but I know you will always be there watching over us. 
You have had a wonderful life, full of love laughter, excitement and joy. Its time to for our matriarch to rest; Be free MOM.

I still can't believe you're gone. I keep wanting to drive over to your house after work and nap with you. I want to go back and spent every moment I can with you but I know instead I must cherish them. There is so much that I want to say but I know that you're aware of how much I love you and wish I could spend more time with you. Thank you for pushing me to be the best I can be and being the most amazing grandma I could ask for. I hope you can look down upon me.. helping me to make the most valuable decisions in life and am proud of the woman I will become.

My beautiful grandma Betty. Seemed like just yesterday the family was at your house for pizza.. Laughing enjoying our time telling jokes. I loved to see you smile grandma. I'm gonna remember all the personal talks and positive thoughts you gave me. I'm so thankful I got a chance to live with you for 2 years. I learned so much about you. I'd love to come home after work and eat dinner with you. Swap stories and talk about our days. You were such a wonderful person. I can't believe this has happened.. Not to you. I love you grandma and miss you so much.

I hold many fond memories of Mrs. Phillips. She was very welcoming when I met Beth and encouraged, along with Charlie, all the Rainbow and other fun we had. My fondest memory is her insistence on cooking for us when I dropped Beth back home. I'd never dipped toast into a sunny-side up egg beforeand still love it to this day =) RIP

I was blessed to meet Mrs Betty atleast once I believe maybe twice. We spoke on the phone a couple times as well.  Her cats loved the smell of my son Kelvaughns smelly socks. She thought it was so funny that they were attracted to the smell. I know its funny what we remember sometimes. Thank you Mrs Betty for always bestowing love upon my son. Thank you for Beth, well who I know as Liz. She has always showed love to all my children.
Today, I send my love to all of the family. Know you are All in my prayers.

Grandma,
Went by your house today. Couldn't believe you weren't there. I know you're up there dancing away with Grandpa and talking to him with that sparkle in your eye that I saw every time you spoke of him. You are missed every day and every thing I do ends up reminding me of you. I love you more than you love lemon bars.

For my dear sister Betty:  It just hasn't really hit me that you are gone.  You have always been there for me....the best sister anyone could have wanted.  We spent wonderful summers together when I was a teenager.  You were one of the most generous people in the world.  I think you would have given anyone anything in your power.  I know I am going to miss you terribly.  I will be thinking that it is time for me to call and see how you are feeling.  It's going to be hard.  I loved you so much.

Betty was the most giving,loving and Best sister in the whole world. She was also a wonderful sister-in-law to my wife Julie and a loving auntie to our children and their families. 
As couples, we have shared many great memories traveling across county in our RV's to AZ and KS.   We have also spent many wonderful holidays with both her family and ours.

Betty was the most giving and best sister in the WHOLE WORLD. She was also a wonderful sister- in- law to my wife Julie and a loving auntie to our children.  As couples we have shared many wonderful memories traveling in our RV's, spending holidays together with both her family and ours and almost every year going to the Hiller reunions etc..

I am so sorry for your  loss, Betty was truly an amazing person. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing her well, I was blessed to be friends with her daughter. The family unity and love was so obvious. Rest in peace Betty and yes you did do it your way.

I first metMrs. Phillips in the summer of 82' when I joined Rainbow Girls!! She was a very Wounderful and caring ladie!! She was just a great ladie and a Wounderful Mom to Beth!! You are now with Charlie and telling him everything!! I will miss You Mrs. Phiiips!!

I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Betty, but what time  I did, I found that she had a heart of gold. Her sweet smile so contagious. 
I know she meant the world to my sister Nancy.

I did not have a chance to personally meet Betty, but have had the pleasure of knowing her Daughter and Granddaughter who i adore.. You were deeply loved!

My deepest condolences to Betty's family during this time. She was a truly beautiful woman. I am so sorry for your loss Beth.  She will always hold a special place in my heart for her kindness to me in my high school years.

Betty was a great friend for many years.  Will always remember her from the Hiller Aircraft days when she was the Librarian. Rest in Peace, Betty.
