Danny unexpectedly, quickly but peacefully passed away on Sunday morning. He touched many lives with his sense of humor, gentleness and wisdom. Danny was born in Porterville, CA. He graduated from Monache High School. He earned his AA from DeAnza College in Computer Science. He joined the fraternity of techies starting at AMI then to California Devices( where he met his future wife), then to Schlumberger. With a quick stint at his father-in-laws company Barvic in Brentwood( which he said was the hardest job he ever had). He joined up with a new company Weitek then to Cisco then on to Clorox and finally ending with Hewlett Packard. His passion in life was football- watching, coaching and playing. He coached at Cupertino High School in his younger days. He coached both of his sons leagues Brentwood Flag and Delta Patriots. He played with Zee Med a semi-pro league for approximately 8 years. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame University football as well as marrying into a Green Bay Packer family. Danny is survived by his beloved sons Matthew Jacob and Jonathan Bernard, loving wife Cherral and napping pal puppy Harley. He is also survived by his loving uncle Rafael (Felsia) Castillo of Santa Clara and sister and brother in law Michelle and Roy Takeuchi and nephew Christopher of San Jose, CA as well as all that knew him socially and professionally. His sense of humor, sense of spirit and sense of life will be missed by all.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 14th at one o'clock p.m. at Brentwood Funeral Home 839 First Street Brentwood, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his sons' college fund.
