Ed passed away Sunday after a long battle with heart disease.
He was raised in Kentucky, proud to have served as a US Marine, and lived most of his life in Fremont and Oakley. He was an insurance broker for many years and owner of the Morgan Company. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and RV’ing with the Red Mountaineers. He took great pleasure in his family, home, and reading good books. Because of his integrity, friendliness and outgoing personality, he was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
Ed is survived by his loving wife Judy, of 47 years; his daughter Lya, son Eliott and his four grandsons: Nathan, Tyler, Austin and Evin. He is also survived by his sisters Elaine, and Jean, brothers Bill and John and predeceased by his brother Bob.
A private, family gathering will be held at a future date.
