

She was born on October 4, 1925, and lived a remarkable life spanning more than a century, marked by deep faith, devotion to family, and quiet strength. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marian lived her life guided by faith, service, and compassion for others. Her testimony, resilience, and steady presence were an example to all who knew and loved her.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Carol (Terry) Gwin of Oakley, CA; her sons, Warren (Beverly) Lazar of Tucson, AZ, and Mike (Debbi) Lazar of Brentwood, CA; and her brother, Jack (Linda) Gregory of Brentwood, CA. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Ely (Christina) Gwin, Vrinda (Ben) Alldritt, Ethan (Janette) Gwin, Michelle (Brandon) Richey, Kim Lazar, and Jason Lazar as well as her great grandchildren, Lauren, Cole, Connor, and Leo, who brought her immense joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Lazar.
Marian will be remembered for her kindness, perseverance, and the deep love she held for her family. Her legacy continues through the many generations who were blessed by her love, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Funeral services will be held on April 30, 2026 at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First St.. Viewing at 9:30, Service at 10:00. Burial immediately following at Brentwood Cemetery 11545 Brentwood Blvd., followed by a reception at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1875 Highland Way Brentwood, CA
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
