My grandfather was the best of grandfathers. He was determined to keep our family together, despite the distances and personal struggles that separated all of us. I will dearly remember all of the times we had together: birthdays, holidays, reunions, and all the other days in between. 

I love you Grandpa, and I will miss you greatly.

I played tennis with Milt for many years as part of the Summerset Tennis Club.  I remember the first time I was teamed up with Milt, who was 15 years older than me.  Having doubts about how we might play, we figured out that I could run down balls that he couldn't get too, and I was always amazed at the plays he made with any balls that he could reach.  Milt was an inspiration to us all by coming out to play, even as he was undergoing chemo.  Milt, we will miss you on the courts.

Being a Missionary in Malawi Africa has prevented us from being in attendance at my brother's Memorial, but our time in December & January we were able to spend time together and share our hearts. 

So, it is with a sadden heart that we had to say our farewells with so many miles between us, but we both knew how much we loved & respected each other! Our farewell is only temporary, as we will be reunited again one day in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, along with Mema, Pampa, Tommy Ross, Sandy, and all the other Braselton's that have gone on before us.

Milton was always my "Uncle Mickey".  I have many fond memories of my Uncle and his son's; we would try to spend summer's together. As a child I found him intimidating; I have no idea why.  As a young woman I got to know him on a spiritual level after his first wife passed; he was a beautiful human being; much more sensitive than I had ever imagined. I always admired my Uncle for getting out of El Paso and joining the Navy; going to college; and becoming a successful man.  His greatest legacy for me was his love for his children; he was a great father.  He loved and encouraged his son's to follow their dreams. I wish I could have been at the Memorial today to hear the boys sing to their father.  I remember the look my uncle had on his face when his boys would play music and sing; he looked at them with pure love and admiration. He was a complicated man and yet very simple.  I love you Uncle Mickey; may your soul soar to the highest level; and say hello to your sister for me.  You had a good life and you will be missed~

All our love and prayers go out the Braselton family. God bless Milt, my life is better from knowing him.

It is with sadness for your loss that I send my love and comfort to all in the Braselton family. Braz was my very special uncle. I will always hold on to those incredible memories of him that bring a smile to my face. He was a loving, funny giant of a man and all of us will miss him. Peace uncle Braz and I will honor you when I come to town on the 19th.

Milt is the reason I got my career off to a healthy path he spent time with me when no one else care this is why when we got together after his retirement I never allow him to pay for his lunch over all these years. He is in the Lords vineyard now and I am sure he is wearing a gold crown of righteousness.
