
Nan was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and great grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart and she was so loved in return. In her 70 years she was a caregiver to many. Nan was a self-taught crafter, quilt maker, gardener and cook just to name a few. And she was excellent at each! She loved the outdoors. Camping, fishing and skiing in her younger years were always a favorite.
Born 12-16-45 in Pensacola Florida to Floyd and Theresa Bergstrasser and grew up in living in many different places while her father was in the Navy. She always loved to tell the stories of her and her brother David running around the beaches of Florida and Hawaii on great adventures. Once married and with a family she lived in Hayward, Fremont and retiring in Arnold. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years Carl Schelbert, daughter Lisa Quinn, sister Robyn Youngman, grandchildren Kelley, Kyle & Courtney Quinn, Kevin & Shannon Schelbert, great granddaughter Kaylee Pioletti, Nephews Brandon Youngman and Christopher Youngman, great nephews Caleb and Ethan, great niece Addisyn and Nephew Dayton Adams. Predeceased by her parents, brother David Bergstrasser, and her son Kenny Schelbert.
