Nancy Chaplin, 75, died peacefully at her home in Estacada, OR, on January 17th, 2021. She was born January, 25th, 1945, in Barnhill Township, IL, the daughter of George Earl Atkinson and Viola Ruth (Cork) Atkinson.
Nancy loved attending church, worshiping in song, playing the piano, playing the accordion, singing with her family, and shopping. She married Jerry Lee Chaplin, Sr. on February 24th, 1976. She worked and was loved at Sutter Delta Medical Center, in the dietary department, for over 15 years.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Lee Chaplin, Sr. She is survived by 8 children. Sons: Thomas Zimmerman, Muldraugh, Ky, Scott Zimmerman, Harriman TN, Jerry Chaplin, Jr, Antioch California. Daughters: Karen (Zimmerman) Handy, Antioch CA, Trisha Chaplin, Westville IL, Deborah (Zimmerman) Ammons, Estacada, OR, Daneena (Hardesty) Bryant, Vallejo, CA, Ramona (Chaplin) Zoggas, Danville IL.
Nancy has 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: William Handy, Christopher Handy, Vincent Nunez, Ian Bryant, Randy Handy, and Nicholas Ray.
