my dear Samantha u were not just my niece but my mini me. we were alike in so many ways. there are so many memories I will cherish forever. I will be forever heartbroken. to my brother dickie and linda and ryan and kyle. I love u all with all my heart and wish more than anything I could be there with you. I don't know what to say, you guys are family, but your house was always my second home. Mamph was as close to a sister as could be. I love you guys, and I can't imagine the pain.

My heart is broken. I am still in shock and can't believe that she's gone. I remember when dad and my mom picked me up from school to go to the hospital when she was born to meet her. I was so excited, I had never seen a more beautiful baby. I remember spending the night at your house, on the pull out couch, and she would sneak out of her bed to come out there with me and we'd watch beavis and butthead, that she wasn't supposed to watch. I remember when she graduated high school and I couldn't have been prouder if she was my own daughter. She was the first kid I had ever babysat, and she was the first one of the kids to ever babysit my kid. She was my riding buddy and was always ready to go with me anywhere. She wasn't just my niece, she was more like the little sister I never had, and one of my best friends. The hole she has left in my heart will never be filled. I loved her so much and will miss her for the rest of my life. 

I wish that I could be with all of you during this. Please know that I love you so very much and you are constantly on my mind, in my heart, and in my prayers. I can't imagine the heartache Dickie, Linda, Kyle, and Ryan are dealing with. I love you all so much.

Samantha, My sweet granddaughter I love you with all my heart and soul.  I'm so heartbroken. So young to be gone from us. My heart is breaking for your mom, dad and your brothers.
