Sheryl passed away due to complications from lung cancer. Sheryl was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the oldest of five children, a sister and three brothers. After completing her education in 1978 she moved to Newark, California and began a career writing computer code for IBM computers. In 1984 she married Dean Gordon and in 1987 when her first child was born she decided to become a homemaker. In Sheryl's whole life she never did anything half way and took raising children and running a household the same way. Sheryl is survived by her husband Dean and children Douglas, Bradley and Anna. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, April 2nd 11am at Brentwood Funeral Home 839 First Street, Brentwood.
