Born on March 4, 1941, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, Nettie lived a life defined by love, strength, and quiet generosity. She devoted herself deeply to her family, always putting others before herself and creating a life filled with warmth, laughter, and care.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humor, faith, resilience, love of tennis, golf, art, and for the way she made everyone around her feel seen and supported. Her presence was a steady source of comfort, and her love will continue to guide those who knew her.
Nettie is survived by her son, William S. Duvall; daughter-in-law, Tina M. Duvall; and grandchildren, Courtney and Will Duvall. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Duvall; parents, Joseph and MaryLee Williams; and siblings, Ruby, Anna Jean, Woodford, and Jimmy Williams. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm CST on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home in Brentwood, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made on Nettie's behalf to the Dementia Society of America.
