

Teresa was a devoted Christian and a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She attended Freed-Hardeman College and graduated from Harding University with a degree in Home Economics. She was a talented seamstress with a natural eye for color, and created many intricate clothing items for loved ones.
She shared 42 years of marriage with the late John Patrick “Pat” Hogan, whom she married on October 23, 1976. She served many years as a faithful preacher’s wife in Arcola, Illinois and Sikeston, Missouri. In the church, she was passionate about early childhood education.
She is survived by one son, Ryan Hogan; one daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Micah Redding; and one grandson, Asher Redding. Other survivors include two sisters, Joyce (Jerry) Hildenbrandt and Sherry Beck, one sister-in-law Cathy Tatum, and one brother, Keith Tatum.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Patrick Hogan, brother Readus Tatum, sister-in-law Jennifer Tatum, and brother-in-law Ron Beck.
Visitation hours will be held Friday, January 2 from 5pm-7pm and Saturday, January 3 at 10am, with service to follow at 11am at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church St E, Brentwood, TN. Jerrie Barber of Bellevue, Tennessee will officiate.
Burial will follow at Springer Cemetery in Hohenwald, Tennessee.
