Velma Stockard, age 90, of Brentwood, TN passed away on April 5, 2016.Her life was a testament to her faith in God, and her sweet smile a reflection of His love and the love she had for family and friends.Velma is preceded in death by loving husband, Robert Stockard, parents Elsie and Filmore Haddock, and brother Ralph Haddock. She is survived by her daughter Judy Parker (Larry), sons Dennis Stockard (Kara) and Bobby Stockard (Jennifer), 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN on Thursday, April 7th from five o’ clock in the evening until seven o’clock that evening. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church 222 Belle Mead Boulevard Nashville Friday April 8th with Pastor Steven Meriwether officiating. Service at Eleven O’clock in the morning with visitation one hour prior to service at church.
