The Danville, IL native was the son of the late John and Eileen Myers. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Louise Myers.
Precious memories will be cherished by his loving children Bill (Betty Jean) Myers of Ocala FL, Rick (Cheryl) Myers of Brentwood, TN, Teresa (Billy) Redman of Edgewood, KY, Julie Phillips of Bowling Green, KY, and David Myers of Boise, ID. Grandchildren, Christina Herbowy, Brian Myers, Austin Myers, Christopher Myers, Eric Myers, Aaron Anderson, Nicole Anderson, Valerie Phillips, Victoria Hamby, Tracie Johnson, and Sara Phillips; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings Pat (Tom) Wartsbaugh, Tom (Delia) Myers, Diane (Marshall) Pridemore, Susan (Tony) Bonacorsi, Ellen (Don) Wright, and Reverend Jim Myers.
Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and confidant, which reflects who he was throughout his life. He was a very intelligent and loving soul who was a friend to many people over the years. Bill cherished his role as caregiver and a great businessman. He was a printer in graphic design for close to 50 years and prided himself in his work and passed that on to family and coworkers. Bill enjoyed traveling with family and friends, golf, horse racing, hiking, and spending time with family. He also enjoyed working with the mission to provide care and supplies to Haiti, was even able to go there twice, and also organized and executed the packing of the supplies. His loving and caring soul will be remembered forever and will live in the hearts and minds of all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Holy Family Church (9100 Crockett Road, Brentwood, TN 37027) at 11:00 CST, officiated by Reverend Jim Myers.
The family invites friends to gather with them for a time of remembrance and visitation at Brentwood -Roesch Patton Funeral Home (9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027) from 5:00-8:00pm on Sunday May 9, 2021.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be directed to Hospice House of Bowling Green (5872 Scottsville Road Bowling Green, KY 42104) or Room at the Inn (705 Drexel Street Nashville, TN 37203).
