BAILEY, Benjamin F., age 76 of Brooksville and formerly of Tampa, died Mon., Aug. 9, 2010 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Boston, GA he moved to Brooksville 2 years ago from Bushnell. He was a retired fire fighter for the City of Tampa, U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was protestant by faith. Survivors include his wife: Carleen; sons & daughters-in-law: Clifford & Lori of Greenville, SC and William & Sharon of Brooksville; daughter & son-in-law: Darlene & Charlie Hamiter of Bryan, TX; grandchildren: John, Ben, Dan, Bryce, Alyssa, Will, Emilia & Hanna. Visitation for friends will be 6 – 8pm, Wed., Aug. 11, 2010 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Thu., Aug. 12, 2010 at Community Bible Church, Brooksville. Military honors will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
