Bernard Schorle

Born June 18, 1935 in Sterling, Ohio, he was the son of the late John W. & Mary (Calame) Schorles.  He worked as an aeronautical machinest and came to Brooksville 18 years ago from Keystone Heights, Florida.  He was a member of Berean Assembly Church in Spring Hill, Florida.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his son, Russell Schorle.  He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Schorle; son, Jesse Ray Schorle of Springsfield, Missouri; daughter, Rochelle Shelton of Weeki Wachee, Florida; brothers, Gerald Schorle of Ohio and Kenneth Schorle of Tennessee; sisters, JoAnne Cohen and Ruth Slater, both of Ohio; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Monday, October 19, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Gary Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.

Flowers and/or memorial contributions to The Leukemia Society are equally welcome.
