DUTY, Cressel Blankenship, age 92 of Brooksville died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Hometown, WV she came to this area 39 years ago from South Charleston, WV. She was an owner of a Nursing Home and member of Shady Hills Full Gospel Assembly. She was predeceased by her husband: Edward Duty. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law: Charles “Chuck” and Leora Thaxton of Bidwell, OH, Carol E. and Barbara Duty of Luther, MI; daughter & son-in-law: Barbara Jean and James Abner of St. Albans, WV; sister: Carolyn; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 6-8pm Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted 11:00am Friday, March 4, 2011. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
