Dakota Ryan Martinez

He was born July 28, 2001 in Spring Hill, Florida and had been a lifelong resident of Brooksville.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator and loved fishing and four wheeling.  He was Baptist by faith.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Cuthbertson.  He is survived by his mother, Laurie Lambke (Kevin Eaton) of Brooksville, FL and his father, Jeffrey “Jeff” Martinez (Brandy) of Ridge Manor, FL; brother, Brett Martinez (Belinda) of Brooksville, FL; stepsisters, Stephanie Linville of Ridge Manor, FL, Abigail Linville of Lacoochee, FL, and Hannah Bendz (David) of Zephyrhills, FL; girlfriend, Lindsey Korody of Brooksville, FL; aunt, Vicky Rider (Roberto) and uncles, Tony Martinez, Ricky Dummer, and Brian Lambke (Jennifer). 

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 10:00am, Wednesday, July 21, 2021, with Pastor Joe Santerelli officiating.  Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
