David was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 8, 1942. He graduated from Central High School, Philadelphia, in the 214th Class. He earned his BS in Accounting and Business Management in 1964 from Temple University. He immediately entered the U. S. Army as a Second Lieutenant serving in the First Calvary and stayed in the Army Reserve for an additional 18 years. He rose through the ranks and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before he retired.
He is survived by his two children: daughter, Penny Michelle (Millendorf) Cook of Washington and her 3 children and son, Jerry Robert Millendorf of California; and his sister, Carole (Millendorf) Fiore of Tallahassee, Florida.
David will be interred with full military honors at 10:00am, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513).
