To my dear friend David Millendorf:
I write this today with a heavy heart to honor someone who meant so much to me—someone I was blessed to call a dear friend. Our friendship might have begun later in life, and there was an age difference between us, but from the very start, it felt like we had known each other forever. Age never mattered—it was the connection we shared that truly defined our bond. We discovered, almost effortlessly, that we saw the world through similar eyes. Our conversations were filled with shared views, common interests, and a deep understanding that often felt rare and comforting. We laughed, we reflected, and, in so many ways, we found a sense of kinship that was both unexpected and beautiful. One of my greatest regrets—and a lesson I carry with me—is that we never had the chance to meet in person after Covid, though we often said we would. A simple meal, a coffee—things that seemed so possible at the time. Life has a way of moving faster than we expect, and time slips through our fingers more quickly than we realize. It’s a reminder to cherish those we care about, to make the time for those connections, because moments can pass before we even know they’re gone. We spoke often—sometimes daily—and now, those conversations are something I miss more than words can express. There’s an emptiness in the quiet where your voice used to be, but there’s also a deep gratitude for every memory we created, every thought we shared. I find comfort in imagining you now at peace, reunited with your beloved dogs and animals, free from pain or discomfort. I picture you standing where the rainbow bridge meets the holy bridge of human souls, surrounded by unconditional love and companionship, as you always deserved. Thank you, my friend, for your kindness, your wisdom, and the joy you brought into my life. I will carry your memory with me always.

My name is Ken Becker, and I´m living in Sweden. 
I got in touch with David though our common hobby, when I visited SHARC, the local amateur radio club of Spring Hill, sometime around 2012-2013.
A former work pal to me, also from Sweden, and also a member of SHARC introduced me to Dave. 
We helped Dave at some occasions with his antenna system, since he had some issues with it. 

When visiting Dave the first time, I noticed a special candle holder in his bookshelf, a candle holder called "Menorah", which is typical for someone Jewish.
I asked Dave, if he was Jewish and he confirmed it. 
" - Me too", I said, and we got a special bond.
 
I was visiting Spring Hill from time to time, a few weeks per year, until I retired. 
Being retired, I could spend more time, during my visits. 
We kept in touch through email, and tried to meet for small lunches, each time I visited.
Been a very good friend, David will be deeply missed.
