David aka Dr. Love aka Stix H. Stewart

David retired from Boxes etc. Inc, Orlando, FL where he was a successful salesman throughout Florida. He, along with his wife Jean, started and owned DJ Produce Gift & Things, LLC located in Brooksville.

He was devoted to his faith in God, his family, and friends. David loved singing and was affectionately known as "Dr. Love".

David is preceded in death by his father, Harry Stewart and his mother, Mary Langworthy Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jean Stewart; 4 sisters, Sue Garner (Wendell), Debbie Stewart, Peggy Frye (Robert), and Melinda Stewart; David has 10 nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; 18 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece; and countless cousins, aunts, and uncles. He also has 7 step-children, and 17 step-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm, Monday, February 9, 2026 at Stable Faith Cowboy Church (12077 N Broad Street, Brooksville, FL 34601) where a celebration of his life begins at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery (22371 Lake Lindsey Road, Brooksville, FL 34601).
