He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was employed as a housing inspector for Pasco County. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by son: Colin Bennett of Brooksville, FL; daughters: Christine Bennett of Masaryktown, FL; Cathryn Bennett of Dublin, Ireland; mother; Kathryn Bennett of Brooksville, FL; brothers and sister-in-law: Terry and Kym Bennett; Larry Bennett, all of Brooksville, FL; former wife; Georgeann Bennett of Brooksville, FL; 2 grandchildren: Seann Bennett and Morgan Bennett.
