Edgar Wallace Peterson

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 2, 1937 to Eulalie Hassell and Austin Peterson. Pete is predeceased by his beloved wife, Marica Ivory Peterson; his sister, Diana Louise Heil and her husband, Ralph.  Pete had five children, Lynn Beim, Kurt Peterson, Karen Peterson, David Peterson and Charles (Butch) Ivory.  He also had fourteen loved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Pete honorably served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army.  Pete worked in many small business enterprises.  He dedicated his efforts to help people in the recovery process and was a friend of Bill W. for 49 years.

Pete loved the outdoors including fishing, hiking, swimming and horseback riding.  He was a long time resident of Brooksville, Florida.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 2:00-3:00pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where a Memorial Service will begin at 3:00pm.
