

Born Emma Louise Taylor 12/11/1930 ~ 03/21/2023.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Taylor; father, Marvin Taylor; sister, Darlene Taylor; husband, and father of her two sons, Kenneth Price; her second husband, Philip Parker; and grandson, James Price. She is survived by brothers, Roy Taylor of Bethalto IL and Chuck Taylor of Florida; two sons, Terry Price and his two children, Kenny Price and Kimberly Price both of Bethalto and Gary Price of East Alton IL his son, Jerimy Price of Austin Tx, his five children, Kristopher Price of TX, Aryain Price of IL, Allyssa Price of TX, Ashlynn Price of Tx, and Ayden Price of TX.
In her early years Emma worked for Owens Glass works In Alton, IL, the Sunray Café in Cottage Hills and Thrifty Drug store in East Alton, IL. Her true passion was cooking and being a homemaker. She also enjoyed camping throughout her entire life. Both she and her first husband, Kenneth spent a great deal of time as active members of the Cottage Hills Boy Scout troop and mentored many young people. After Kenneth passed, she later re-married to Philip Parker of Florida. They enjoyed traveling the US in search of bluegrass festivals. Both Emma and Phil where also active in the church along with helping local youth groups. Emma loved all her Grandchildren and traveled to Illinois and Texas to spend time with them. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her good friends Scott and Laurel Terrel of Brooksville, FL.
