

Frances Ann Mummert, 81, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, Florida. Fran was born February 11, 1943, in Charlotte, Michigan, to Clayton LaVern Keiser, and Mary Frances Johnson.
Fran was a flight attendant with Eastern Air Lines, traveling the world, enjoying life to it's fullest, collecting seashells, and always stopping to smell the flowers. She primarily resided in Brooksville, Florida and Gainesville, Georgia, always close to some sort of body of water enjoying boating, water skiing, swimming, and watching a sunset. She also enjoyed snow skiing, waterfalls, seasonal changes, such as fall leaves, and taking in all the beauty in life.
Fran is survived by her husband of 22 years, Robert William "Bob" Mummert; her son, Ronald Michael Cole II (Jean Louise) of Knightdale, North Carolina; her brother, Ronald Scott Morgan (Laura) of Eustis; her nieces and nephew, Catherine, Rebecca, and Matthew Morgan, and her nephew Jalal Clayton Keiser of Rhode Island and his two children. She is predeceased in death by her brother, Clayton Jay Keiser.
A Visitation for family and friends to celebrate Fran's life will be held from 11:00am-2:00pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Merritt Funeral Home Brooksville (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601), where a Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:30pm at Lake Lindsey Cemetery, 22371 Lake Lindsey Road, Brooksville, FL 34601.
Dress casually, like Fran would, comfortable, colorful, and stylish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to (Hospice) Chapter Health Foundation, 12470 Telecom Dr, Suite 301, Temple Terrace, FL 33637.
