COLLINS, Fred W., age 74 of Spring Hill died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his home. Born in Los Angeles, CA he came to this area 11 years ago from Hawaii. He was a firefighter for the City of Santa Monica, CA, a U.S. Navy Korean Conflict Veteran, current member of the Hawaii Yacht Club, former member of the Hernando Beach Yacht Club, member of the Santa Monica Firefighters Association and the Royal Order of Moose, Elks & American Legion and life member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife: Vicki; sons Dennis L. Collins, Michael A. Collins and Kelly A. Collins; brother: Edward Collins and 4 grandchildren.
