Frederick John Torrent

He was born June 11, 1931 in Muskegon, Michigan and came to Brooksville 38 years ago from East Troy, Michigan.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army, worked as President and CEO of Torrent Manufacturing for many years and later worked for the United States Postal Service for 15 years.  He was an accomplished pilot who loved to fly, loved to tinker, and was an avid inventor.  He was Protestant by faith.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Torrent.  He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia Torrent; sons and daughters-in-law, John & Grace Torrent of Vero Beach, Florida and Troy & Nancy Bell of Concord, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law, Margo & Allen Nales of Zephyrhills, Florida and Robin & Mike Dobrick of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy & Gordon Friedrichs of Waukesha, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

An Inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, with military honors; Service will be private.
