MEYER, James L., age 74 of Weeki Wachee passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Columbus, GA and came to this area 35 years ago. He worked as a Civil Engineer and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his wife: Rosalie; sons: James L Meyer, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Timothy A. & Christopher D. Meyer, both of Spring Hill, FL; brother: Bruce Meyer of Ft. Myers, FL; sister: Teena Ammons of Townsend, GA and 3 grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 2-4pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will take place at 4pm.
