She was born August 21, 1931 in Whitesburg, Kentucky and came to this area 40 years ago from Baltimore, Maryland. She was a homemaker and a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Gale Howard and her grandson, Jason Murphy. She is survived by her husband of 69 years: Millard Vaughn, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law: Millard V. & Michelle Vaughn of Delaware; daughter: Victoria Murphy of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchildren: Matt Howard, Ali Contant, Jessica Tuczynski and Adam Vaughn; great-grandchildren: Bella and Olivia Tuczynski.
